This year I was fortunate to have been selected as a finalist in the School of the Photographic Arts: Ottawa annual A+ competition. For those of you not familiar with SPAO it represents the leading school of fine art photography in Ottawa. This year I decided to enter a series I had been working on called LIFE. It represents people in less developed countries and just how they live their everyday lives. The series was shot on my Fuji X-H1 and mostly with the 16-55mm f2.8 lens. Some of the pictures were taken in India and some in Cuba. I post produced them in Topaz Studio for a realistic yet dreamy look to signify their thoughts and dreams. The first photo in the series below was the finalist photo.
